MANAGEMENT OF THE LIBRARY

The library is efficiently managed by the Board of trustees and different Committees consisting of high-calibre members from the field of Library and Information Science as well as other relevant professions.

The apex authority for the management of the library is the Board of trustees.

The affairs of the Institute are managed by the Managing Committee of 12 Members, which consists of four Trustees (including President, Vice President and Treasurer) and eight Committee Members (including an Hon. Secretary).

The day-to-day administration of the library is carried out by an Administrator. The Books and Magazines Committee manages the development of the collections of the library, while the Weeding Committee meets at regular intervals to weed out old and damaged items from the collections.
